Nothing (3a) Series New Update Rolled Out

According to the official Nothing Community blog, the latest software update bears the version number Nothing OS V3.1-250417-1222. The blog mentions that the firmware rollouts are usually staggered, which means not all users will receive the update simultaneously. We suggest waiting for a while if you have not yet received it.

Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Camera Module

The new update supports 4K video recording through telephoto and periscope lenses. According to the brand, this latest addition results from community feedback. Apart from the telephoto 4K recording, the update also brings selfie camera enhancements with improved details and natural colours, improved image quality when clicking pictures under streetlight at night, 50MP image filters, and reduced flicker in telephoto low light.

The new update also introduces Privacy Space, which allows users to swipe right in the app drawer for easy access to the privacy space. Users can set different passwords for App Locker and Privacy Space. Thanks to this update, users also get a new Hotspot manager feature, which lets them easily manage devices connected to their hotspot.

Apart from these, the update brings the April Android Security patch along with general bug fixes and stability improvements.
