Nothing will soon launch the Phone (3a) series, and ahead of this, the brand has shared a sneak peek regarding the design of the phone. It has also shared the thought behind picking this design for the Phone (3a) Pro. Let’s check out the details.
Nothing Phone (3a) Pro Design Revealed
The Phone (3a) Pro will go a different route and feature a large circular rear camera hump while keeping the Glyph Interface, which has also seen some changes. Much like the Phone (2a) series, there will be three LED strips, but these will offer more functionality.
Now, the design isn’t completely new; if you closely look at the Phone (2a) phones, you will see a circular boundary around the pill-shaped camera setup at the back. However, with the new models, the setup has become more defined and thicker.
Another change (and a significant one at that!) is the inclusion of a 3x periscope lens. There will also be a dedicated camera button (as seen on the iPhone 16 series), which has a glossy finish. This was also showcased via a previous teaser.
The video shared by Nothing reveals that the Phone (3a) Pro will get a 50MP main snapper with OIS, a 50MP Sony periscope camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie shooter.
Nothing has shared how the design of the Phone (3a) Pro was finalised. Several rough sketches were made before finalising the design. The idea was to keep the design simple and practical while fitting in all the components. The video also features the upcoming Phone (3), but the design was completely blurred, so we don’t have any new updates regarding this phone as of now.
One interesting bit shared in the video is how Nothing’s design team drops easter eggs as part of the design, which hints at what will come next. For instance, the camera button bit was hinted at in the Phone (2a) design. Check out the video to learn more.
The Nothing Phone (3a) series, including the Phone (3a) and the Phone (3a) Pro, will launch on March 4 and come with a Snapdragon chipset (possibly the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3) and many upgrades. You can check out the rumours from here, and since the launch is next week, stay tuned for more details on the forthcoming Phone (3a) series.
