Highlights
  • Nothing has shared design sketches of its upcoming smartphone and a new post from the same device.
  • The Carl Pei-owned company is gearing up to launch the Nothing Phone (3) in the coming days.

Nothing Phone (3) launch is around the corner as the company has started posting teasers. The brand has shared several design sketches of the upcoming smartphone on its official X handle. Moreover, the company has also tweeted “first tweet from new device,” which is now pinned on its profile. Here’s everything you need to know about the recent development.

Nothing Teases New Smartphone In a Series of Design Sketches

Nothing has shared a series of hand-drawn design sketches of a new smartphone. These sketches point to another smartphone with the brand’s signature transparent back panel. Another image has two circles in a horizontal pill-shaped structure, which we have seen on Nothing Phone (2a) and Nothing Phone (2a) Plus.

It would be safe to assume that these teasers are of the Nothing Phone (3a) but could also be the Phone (3) since the sketches don’t show the entire rear panel. Before this, the brand teased a picture of Arcanine, which is said to be the phone’s codename (3). So, the latest series of images from the brand could be of the flagship device.

Earlier this year, Evan Blass, a well-known tipster on X (formerly Twitter), shared an internal email from Carl Pei revealing the launch timeline of the Nothing Phone (3). According to the email, the Nothing Phone (3) will be unveiled in Q1 of 2025. And it’s touted to be a landmark smartphone launch that the world will be very excited to see.

The email also confirms that the Nothing Phone (3) will introduce breakthrough innovations in the user interface. It is speculated to be the first smartphone to feature an AI-powered platform. The flagship Phone (3) may feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the forthcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC. Other details are scarce, but we can expect more information to be confirmed officially soon. So stay tuned.
