The NothingOS 3.0 open beta 2 update is now available for the Nothing Phone (2a). The new version brings improvements to the user interface, quick setting panel, and more. The update brings a revamped portrait mode with better HDR support. Here are the details.
Nothing OS 3.0 Open Beta 2 for Phone (2a)
The NothingOS 3.0 open beta 2 has finally arrived after one month of the first beta version. The highlight of this update is the enhanced widgets functionality. It allows users to share photo widgets between two Nothing devices. NothingOS 3.0 is based on Android 15.
The open beta 2 update will only be available for users, already on the beta channel with the build number Pacman-V3.0-240923-2135. If not, you can shift to beta via the official updater APK from Nothing. Once done, you can install the latest beta as a normal OTA update by going to Settings > System > System Updates.
