
OnePlus is planning a new, relatively cheaper OnePlus 13-branded device, possibly called the OnePlus 13T or the OnePlus 13 Mini. The phone’s rumours are in full swing, and the recent one suggests that it will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This could make it the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. Popular leaker Digital Chat Station, via Weibo, has talked about a compact smartphone with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It is revealed that the phone will come with a 6.3-inch display and a large battery. The phone is also expected to have a “simple and aesthetically pleasing” design.
While the post doesn’t mention the phone’s name, it could be about the alleged OnePlus 13T/13 Mini. DCS also warns people about the fake photos being circulated on the internet.
Another leaker, Smart Pikachu, has hinted at a OnePlus phone with a compact 6.3-inch screen, a 6,000mAh battery, and the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. It appears to be the 13T or the 13 Mini. The phone is slated to have a competitive price, so it may be the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. Currently, the iQOO 13 is easily the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite phone, as it starts at Rs 54,999.
The smartphone is also expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP primary camera, and more. OnePlus is likely to launch the OnePlus 13T/13 Mini in May or the second quarter of 2025.
