OnePlus 9, 9 Pro With Snapdragon 888, 12GB RAM Passes Through Geekbench

OnePlus is all set to launch its next flagship series in the Indian and global market called the OnePlus 9 series and the company has already confirmed the launch on March 23rd, 2021. The upcoming flagship series is said to arrive with two new smartphones including the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. In the last several months we have witnessed numerous leaks and rumours about both the smartphones and today we have spotted the flagship phones on the Geekbench listing. Yes! You read it correctly, the handsets are listed on the Geekbench certification website revealing some of the major information about the OnePlus 9 smartphones.

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Geekbench Listing

Ahead of the official launch the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro are listed on the Geekbench certification website with model number LE2115 and LE2125 respectively. According to the listing, the OnePlus 9 is spotted on the site with Lahaina which is the code name for Snapdragon 888 chipset. Further, the listing also suggests that the smartphone will be equipped with an octa-core processor, clubbed with 12GB RAM and runs on an Android 11 operation system. Besides, the OnePlus 9 has managed to score 1120 points on the single-core and 3630 points in the multi-core Geekbench benchmark test.

On the other hand, the OnePlus 9 Pro is listed on the Geekbench benchmark website with an octa-core Lahaina processor which is the codename for Snapdragon 888 SoC, the handset is backed by 12GB RAM and runs on Android 11. The smartphone has managed to score 1123 points in the single-core and 3416 in the multi-core Geekbench test. Besides, the listing didn’t reveal much about the upcoming OnePlus 9 smartphones.

In other news, the company has confirmed that the OnePlus 9 series will use a custom Sony IMX789 sensor for the largest and most advanced main camera sensor ever on an OnePlus device.
