OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the Nord 2 in India. The new OnePlus smartphone debuts today at 7.30 pm IST. The Nord 2 will launch as a successor to the original Nord, which was unveiled last year in the country. A report now claims that OnePlus has discontinued the Nord in India. The BGR India report states that the mid-range OnePlus smartphone was available for purchase only till stocks lasted and is not up for purchase anymore.
The Nord 2 is set to come with major upgrades over the original Nord in terms of hardware and features. OnePlus also recently launched the Nord CE 5G in India that came with the “core” features of the original Nord at a slightly lesser price. Therefore, it makes total sense for OnePlus to discontinue the original Nord while it gears up to launch its successor.
