OPPO is gearing up for the launch of the OPPO A5 Pro 5G in India. The brand has confirmed its April 24 unveiling in the country. OPPO has also shared the key features of the smartphone ahead of its launch next week. Here are the key details.

The A5 Pro 5G launching on April 24 will feature IP69 all-round waterproofing to withstand dust, water and high-pressure jets. It will also sport a damage-proof 360° Armour Body to offer all-angle drop resistance and rugged use.
The handset will be backed by a large 5,800mAh to power all-day usage. The upcoming smartphone will also support 45W SuperVOOC wired fast charging tech. It will also support a 200% network boost to capture a stronger signal for seamless connectivity.
The teaser revealed by the brand confirms the presence of a squircle camera module. It will house two large camera cutouts and a ring LED flashlight. The camera deco also reveals that it will support AI-based features.

An exclusive report from Smartprix confirms that it will sport a 6.7-inch display with a centered punch-hole cutout. The power button will also integrate the fingerprint scanner. It will run ColorOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.
The report hints that it will support Livephoto, AI Studio, AI Reflection Remover, AI Eraser 2.0, AI 4K Upscale, and AI Unblur. The other expected specifications of the handset include a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, a 16MP selfie camera, military-grade certification and more.
