OPPO has finally taken the wraps off its OPPO A53 mid-range smartphone. The OPPO A53 is now available in Indonesia. The device features a single punch-hole display, a triple rear camera setup, and a Snapdragon 460 processor at its core. The OPPO A53 is priced at Rp 2,499,000, which roughly converts to somewhere around INR 12,700. The device is available in a single memory variant, which has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There are two color options to choose from – Electric Black and Fancy Blue.

Starting with the display of the device, the OPPO A53 features a 6.5-inch HD+ panel with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a left-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The display of the device has a 90Hz refresh rate. The punch-hole makes room for a 16MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. At the back, the OPPO A53 has a triple rear camera setup, which includes a 16MP primary lens and a couple of 2MP cameras. Furthermore, the OPPO A53 has a physical fingerprint scanner mounted at its rear.
Under the hood, the OPPO A53 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor, which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. If 64GB is not sufficient enough for your media consumption needs, the same can be expanded by up to 256GB with the help of an external SD card. On the software side of things, the OPPO A53 ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house ColorOS 7.2 skin baked on top of it.
Coming to the battery of the device, the OPPO A53 has a 5,000mAh battery, which has scope for up to 18W fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port. For those concerned, the OPPO A53 retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
