OPPO will launch a new F-series smartphone – the OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G on June 13 in India. This upcoming F27 Pro+ will be the first IP69-rated smartphone in the country. The brand has also confirmed that the handset will feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Here’s a look at the details.

The OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G will retail in two colour options: Midnight Navy and Dusk Pink. It will feature a premium leather back with siloxane to improve stain resistance. The smartphone features a cosmos ring design with a circular camera module. It is also revealed that the handset will offer a 3D curved AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.

The OPPO F27 Pro+ 5G’s USP will be protection and durability. The handset features a damage-proof 360° armour body. It features IP69 ratings making it water and dust-resistant. The phone has also received MIL-STD 810H or method 516.8 certification which enables military-grade durability and makes it shock-resistant.

The OPPO F27 Pro+ also comes with SGS premium performance 5-star drop resistance certification. This makes the handset extreme height shock resistant and extreme frequency shock resistant, claims the company. The OPPO F27 Pro+ weighs 177 grams and is around 7.89mm thick. The handset will arrive in 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB configuration options, as revealed through the official listing.
