Oppo unveiled the Reno 13 and 13 Pro smartphones in November 2024 in China. Both devices were released in India in January of this year. A new leak by reliable leaker Digital Chat Station reveals that the brand will soon unveil the next-generation Reno models soon in China.
According to DCS, upcoming Reno phones, likely the Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro, will feature flat screens across the entire lineup. Apart from sharing display details, the leak also carries vital information about the design and battery of the lineup. Here are the details that have emerged about the upcoming Reno models in the new leak.
Oppo Reno 14, Reno 14 Pro key details tipped
- According to DCS, the Reno 14 will feature a 6.59-inch OLED LTPS panel that offers a 1.5K resolution. It will have noticeably rounded corners and a narrow bezel design.
- On the other hand, the Reno 14 Pro will have a 6.83-inch OLED LTPS display with a 1.5K resolution. To recall, the Reno 13 and 13 Pro offered the same-sized displays. In comparison, the Reno 14 models are expected to arrive with slimmer bezels than before.
- The Reno 14 series will pack new silicon batteries offering a capacity of around 6,000mAh.
- Furthermore, the tipster suggests that the camera system will be upgraded on both models, focusing on a thin and light design with a strong emphasis on photography, aiming for an iPhone-like experience.

Oppo is all set to unveil the Find X8s, X8s Plus, and X8 Ultra on April 10 in China. Therefore, it is likely that the first teasers of the next-generation Reno models may arrive in the fourth or fifth week of this month. While initial leaks call it the Reno 14 series, there is doubt about the final moniker. To recall, the company launched the Reno 5 by skipping the Reno 4 moniker in the past. The reason behind the brand skipping the name was that the number “4” is considered a bad omen in some Asian markets. Therefore, it is likely that the next-generation Reno models could be called the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro.
