After launching the Reno 13 series earlier this year, OPPO is already setting the stage for its next big release—the Reno 14 series—expected to arrive in July 2025. The upcoming smartphone is shaping up to be more than just an iterative update. In a recent announcement, OPPO revealed its partnership with Google to bring Gemini AI to the Reno 14, aligning with the industry’s growing focus on AI-driven experiences.

Leaked renders have given us our first look at the Reno 14, revealing a sleek Pearl White colour option. The image, shared by trusted tipster Yogesh Brar with SmartPrix, teases what could be one of the standout finishes in this series.

Design-wise, the Reno 14 doesn’t stray far from its predecessor. The camera housing and overall silhouette appear familiar, echoing the Reno 13’s clean aesthetic.

Under the hood, the Reno 14 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution. Powering the device could be MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset, aiming to deliver smooth performance across the board. On top of that, the phone is rumoured to boast IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, promising robust protection against dust and water.

OPPO has yet to disclose the official pricing for the Reno 14. That said, its predecessor—the Reno 13—debuted in India at Rs 35,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Going by that, it’s safe to assume the Reno 14 will fall within a similar sub-Rs 40,000 price bracket, keeping it competitive in the mid-premium segment.

The OPPO Reno 14 is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a crisp 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, promising an immersive viewing experience. Powering the device will likely be the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, designed to deliver solid performance for everyday use and multitasking. In the camera department, the phone is tipped to sport a versatile triple-rear setup, including a 50MP main camera, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

For selfies, users can expect a sharp 50MP front camera. The Reno 14 is also rumored to pack a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups and extended usage. Running on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, the phone is likely to come with the latest software features. Additionally, the device is said to boast robust durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. OPPO is expected to launch the Reno 14 in at least two colours, with Pearl White confirmed and another shade yet to be revealed.

Should the leaked specifications turn out to be accurate, the OPPO Reno 14 may offer a performance experience similar to its predecessor, given both are expected to share the same chipset. Where things start to get interesting, though, is in the camera department. With the inclusion of a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, the Reno 14 appears to be steering toward a more photography-focused identity, possibly with a sleeker design to match.
