OPPO Reno 8T 5G India Launch Date Tipped
The OPPO Reno 8T 5G will be a new premium smartphone from the company. The phone is said to launch a single storage configuration in India. According to Guglani, the Reno 8T 5G will have 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The tipster also revealed the Reno 8T 5G India launch date, which is February 3.
Guglani claims that the phone will launch in two colours in India. They will be called Sunrise Gold and Dynamic Black.
A poster shared by the tipster confirms that the phone will come with a 120Hz 3D curved screen. There will be a 108MP primary camera on the back. The phone will also support 67W fast charging out of the box.
The teaser also confirms the design of the phone. There is a curved screen on the front with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre. The bezels around the display are fairly thin. We can also see the power button on the right, whereas the volume rocker is on the left. On the back, there is a pill-shaped camera module, which houses two circular cutouts for the triple-camera setup and an LED flash. The Gold colour option of the phone has a gradient finish with a shimmery texture on it.
A recent leak revealed that the Reno 8T 5G will go on sale in India from February 7. The phone is also said to be priced at Rs 29,990 for the 8GB RAM option.
In terms of hardware, the OPPO Reno 8T 5G will have a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. The 10-bit OLED screen will come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. There will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC powering the smartphone. The chipset has been used in many phones in India, which were launched for around Rs 20,000. These include the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, Moto G82, Poco X4 Pro 5G, etc.
The Reno 8T 5G will pack a 4800mAh battery, according to the leaked details. As mentioned above, there is support for 67W fast charging. The phone is also said to come with dual speakers and a USB Type-C port. It will have an in-display scanner as well.
The triple-camera setup on the back will not include an ultra-wide camera. Instead, the 108MP primary sensor will be paired with a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP microscope camera sensor.
