After the recent launch of the OPPO K13 under Rs 20,000, the brand is now preparing to unveil its next offering—the OPPO K13x. Marketed as the most durable smartphone in its category, the K13x is designed to take on everyday wear and tear with ease. It features a military-grade-tested build and a tough aluminium alloy frame for added resilience.
OPPO has now announced that the phone will be launching in India on June 23rd, 2025. This aligns with earlier speculations that suggested a release of this phone would occur by the end of June or early July 2025.
As mentioned earlier, the company has announced that the official unveiling for the OPPO K13x will happen on June 23rd, 2025. Following this, the phone is expected to be available on major offline and online retailers, as well as the OPPO store. The word on the street is that the OPPO K13x will be a sub-Rs 15,000 phone, designed especially for young students and early professionals who demand durability and all-around functionality without compromise.
The OPPO K13x is built to handle rough use without breaking a sweat. At the heart of its design is a super-strong aluminium frame made using aerospace-grade tech, the kind used in aircraft and simulators. This new material is approximately 10% tougher than what OPPO has used in the past, which means it can withstand daily drops, bumps, and pressure much better. While the outer frame is made of plastic to keep the phone light and comfortable to hold, it’s the solid metal frame inside that gives it real strength.
On the front, the screen is protected by Crystal Shield Glass—the same kind you’ll find on premium smartphones. It’s 160% more resistant to impact than regular glass, so it can survive accidental falls much more easily. And to make sure your phone stays safe from the moment you unbox it, OPPO also includes a special Anti-Drop Shield Case in the box.
The OPPO K13x is designed with a 360° Armour Frame that’s built to handle daily knocks, drops, and pressure with ease.
The OPPO K13x is certified for toughness with SGS Gold Drop Resistance, SGS Military Standard, and MIL-STD-810H Shock Resistance. With an IP65 rating, the K13x is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets, making it ready for unpredictable moments.
It also comes with a dedicated 3.5mm headphone jack, catering to users who prefer wired audio.
As for what colours to choose from, the phone will be available in two bold and stylish finishes: Midnight Violet and Sunset Peach.
These are the only details confirmed by OPPO so far. Keep an eye on MySmartPrice for more updates as the launch approaches.
