Typically, Google launches two smartphones in each series. However, this time, in addition to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, there’s a new addition—the Pixel 9 Pro XL. Below are more details about each device that you can expect at the launch:

Google Pixel 9

The Pixel 9 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch display, though specific details about the refresh rate and peak brightness are still unknown. The device is expected to be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset and could include 12GB of RAM.

In terms of cameras, the Pixel 9 is likely to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera paired with a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera. For selfies, a 10.5-megapixel front camera is expected.

Google Pixel 9 Pro

The Google Pixel 9 Pro will sport a slightly larger display than the Pixel 9. It will feature a 6.34-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 494 ppi density, and 2050 nits of peak brightness. The Pixel 9 Pro will be powered by the same chipset as the Pixel 9.

In terms of battery, the Pixel 9 Pro is expected to include a 4,600mAh battery with 30W fast charging. For the camera setup, the Pixel 9 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. For selfies, it will have a 50-megapixel front camera.

Google Pixel 9 Pro XL

The Pixel 9 Pro XL will feature a 6.73-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness levels will be the same as those on the Pixel 9 Pro, and the display is expected to be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

The smartphone will have the same Tensor G4 SoC and a Titan M2 security chip for performance.

It will have a 5,050mAh battery and support 30W fast charging. The camera setup, including both the rear and front cameras, is anticipated to be similar to that of the Pixel 9 Pro.

This year, Google will introduce its second foldable phone, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. It will come with an 8-inch main display and a 6.3-inch cover display on the front. Powered by the Tensor G4 SoC and a Titan M2 security chip, it is expected to offer up to 16GB of RAM.

For cameras, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold will feature a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens. Pixel Watch 3
