
POCO has announced the launch of the POCO C71 in India. The affordable smartphone will debut as a successor to the POCO C61 on April 4 in the country. The handset will be sold on Flipkart, similar to other POCO smartphones.
POCO C71: All We Know So Far
The POCO C71 will launch at 12PM on April 4 in India. It will sport the segment’s largest 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a traditional waterdrop-style notch to house the selfie camera. The display is claimed to be the segment’s most eye-friendly, with triple TÜV Rheinland certifications.

These will include the TÜV Low Blue Light, Flicker-Free, and Circadian. The smartphone will also support wet touch, allowing users to operate it with wet hands. The footnote on the Flipkart microsite confirms that the smartphone will be launched in the sub-Rs 7,000 segment.
POCO will introduce the device with a split grid design with a flashy camera deco. The POCO C71 will be available in Power Black, Cool Blue, and Dessert Gold shades. The bottom will feature a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microphone.
The SIM tray will be on the left, the speaker grille on top, and the power button and volume rockers on the right. It will also feature IP52 dust and splash resistance. The handset will house a 5,200mAh battery with 15W wired fast charging support. It will sport a 32MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera.
The device will boot Android 15 out of the box and sport a 2 OS + 4 years security update policy. It will pack an octa-core SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The chipset is teased to score over 300K points on the AnTuTu V10 benchmarking platform.
The C71 will also support up to 6GB of virtual RAM and 2TB of storage expansion. The other features will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual-band Wi-Fi support.
