The POCO F7 Series is expected to launch globally by the end of this month. Previous reports suggest that the launch could happen on March 27. Ahead of the official release, leaked renders of the POCO F7 Pro and POCO F7 Ultra have surfaced online, revealing the design of the upcoming phones. The device will also be available in the signature POCO Yellow colour. Here are the details.
POCO F7, POCO F7 Ultra Leaked Renders
The renders were shared by tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz)on his X (formerly Twitter) account. It suggests that the POCO F7 Pro will be available in three colours: Blue, Silver, and Black, whereas the POCO F7 Ultra could come in POCO Yellow and Black colours.
Both devices in the renders feature a hole-punch display with thin bezels. The POCO F7 Pro is spotted with dual rear cameras, while the F7 Ultra has triple rear cameras. The overall design and form factor appear to be similar to the Redmi K80 Series, hinting that the phones could also share similar specifications.
Renders also suggest that the back panels on the two upcoming POCO phones could feature some pattern-like design. The devices will also feature the POCO branding at the centre.
To recall, the Redmi K80 Series comes with a glass back panel in China. Considering the premium and competitive specifications as per leaks, we can expect the same on the global variant of the POCO F7 Pro and F7 Ultra.
POCO F7 Pro, POCO F7 Ultra: Price and Specs (Expected)
The two devices were spotted on Amazon listings in Europe, which suggests that the POCO F7 Pro could be priced at €599 (approx Rs 56,700) and the POCO F7 Ultra at €749 (approx Rs 70,900).
Going by the specifications of the Redmi K80 Series, the POCO F7 Pro is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 6.67-inch OLED screen, 50MP+8MP rear cameras, and a 5380mAh battery.
The global variant of the POCO F7 Ultra was also spotted on Geekbench AI with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device is said to have the same display as the F7 Pro, along with an upgraded 50MP primary + 32MP ultrawide + 50MP telephoto lens. The battery capacity is expected to be 6000mAh.
POCO has not confirmed the launch date of the POCO F7 Series. An official announcement is expected soon. POCO India Head Himanshu Tandon has hinted that the phones could soon launch in India, through a series of posts on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
