Possible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra/Slim’s Battery Spotted on BIS Certification Website

Highlights
  • We have spotted the second battery for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra on BIS.
  • There are rumours that Samsung is working on another device, possibly named Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra or Z Fold 6 Slim.

Samsung recently launched its Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 devices in Paris. However, rumours are floating on the internet that the brand is working on another device, possibly called Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra or Z Fold 6 Slim. Today, the team at MySmartPrice spotted this device’s battery on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra Battery on BIS Certification

The battery has appeared with the model number EB-BF958ABY, which could belong to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra. Here’s why we think so: the “BF” in the model number represents a battery for a fold or flip series device. Samsung Fold battery model numbers start with “BF9,” and Flip battery model numbers start with “BF7.” This makes us believe that EB-BF958ABY is the battery for an upcoming Fold model.

Interestingly, this is the second battery for the device. We have spotted another battery for the rumoured Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra on the BIS certification with the model numbers EB-BF959ABE and EB-BF959ABY.

Other Details About the Samsung’s Upcoming Foldable

Samsung has remained tight-lipped about its upcoming foldable device, but details are starting to emerge. Renowned tipster Ice Universe has hinted (via Weibo) that the new model will sport a wider cover screen, boasting a 19.5:9 aspect ratio akin to the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This cover screen is rumoured to measure 6.5 inches, while the internal display could be 8 inches, larger than the Galaxy Z Fold 5’s panels.

It’s important to note that these details about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are based on rumours and speculation. Samsung has yet to confirm any information about this device or its existence. Therefore, it’s essential to approach these reports with caution until the company releases concrete details.
