The device is set to bring the industry’s first underwater photography mode. It will allow users to capture moving objects with the help of ultrasonic fingerprint technology.
The fingerprint scanner will allow users to unlock their smartphones and control cameras while underwater via touch. Realme adds that users can zoom and switch between the front and rear cameras using the fingerprint scanner. The GT 7 Pro is claimed to withstand depths of up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. The smartphone will also support IP69 and IP68 dust and water resistance.
It also has a sonic water-draining speaker to remove all remaining water in the device. The brand claims the phone can act like an action camera on land and underwater.
The phone will also support an AI Snap mode, which takes advantage of the new AI Demotion Engine. It supports up to 30 images per second with a shutter speed as fast as 1/10266 seconds for capturing ultra-high-speed moving objects. The device also comes with Live Photo to enhance the visual experience while taking a photo.
The phone is confirmed to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and will be the first in India to get one and get Android 15-based Realme UI 6.0. It will come in Mars Design and Galaxy Grey variants. To recall, it has already been launched in China. Stay tuned for more details around the launch.
