Realme has confirmed that the P2 Pro will arrive in India on September 13. However, before its official launch, we spotted the device in the popular Geekbench database with the RMX3987 model number.
The device listed on the Geekbench database secured 866 in a single-core test and 2811 in a multicore test. The device had 12GB of RAM and Android 14. The phone was spotted with a max CPU clock speed of 2.40 GHz and Adreno (TM) 710 GPU. This indicates that the P2 Pro will get a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset.
However, this is not the first sighting of Realme’s upcoming P series device on the online certifications. Earlier, we spotted the P2 Pro on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the same model number.
Realme P2 Pro: Everything We Know So Far
Realme has already confirmed that the upcoming P2 Pro will have an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a punch hole cut out on the front. The teaser image also reveals that the device will sport an oval-shaped camera module with a golden ring at the back, something which we have seen in almost all the 2024 models from the company.
The camera island will house a dual camera setup with LED light and will also have OIS support. Realme also claims this will be the first smartphone in the segment to offer 80W Ultra charging tech. The device is said to offer 1.5 hours of gaming 24, hours of music, or 3.5 hours of movies with just 5 minutes of charging.
Furthermore, the teaser image also indicates the green shade on the rear and the golden colourway on the frame. It also hints at the speaker grille on the top, which means the upcoming Realme offering will have a stereo speaker setup.
Regarding pricing, we anticipate the P2 Pro to be positioned just below the Rs 20,000 mark, mirroring the P1 Pro’s starting price of Rs 18,999. If this pricing strategy is true, the P2 Pro will face stiff competition from the POCO X6, the iQOO Z9, and the CMF Phone 1.
