
Realme is gearing up for the launch of two new budget smartphones in China. Team MySmartPrice has spotted the RMX3946 and RMX3948 model numbers on the MIIT and TENAA certification. The certification has revealed the key specifications of the smartphones.
Mysterious Realme Smartphone MIIT and TENAA Certification
The MIIT certification has listed the RMX3946 and RMX3948 model numbers, which confirms the support for 5G mobile connectivity. The TENAA certification reveals that both smartphones will sport a 6.67-inch LCD display.
The display will use an IPS panel with support for HD resolution with 720 × 1604 pixels. Both smartphones will be powered by an octa-core SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.40GHz. The forthcoming smartphones will house a 4,880mAh-rated battery.
The TENAA certification adds that they will sport a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. The smartphones will measure 165.7 × 76.22 × 7.94 mm and weigh 190 grams. Both the devices will sport a fingerprint scanner and support face unlock.
Realme will launch the RMX3946 and RMX3948 with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM and 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations. It will support GSM, WCDMA, LTE, NR NSA, and NR SA mobile connectivity. The 5G bands will include 41, 78, and 28, as well as N1, N8, N5, and 2110-2155 MHz bands.
The renders divulged through the certification reveal the popular vertically stacked camera rings. It also shows the fingerprint scanner integrated on the power button. However, the TENAA and MIIT certifications don’t divulge the monikers of the smartphones.
The smartphones are likely to launch in the Realme V series lineup. Realme is also expected to debut the Realme P3x 5G in India with the RMX3944 model number. It is expected to be a rebrand of the RMX3946 smartphone which is launching in China soon.
For those unaware, the Realme 14x 5G which recently went official in India was a rebrand of the Realme V60 Pro. So, we expect the Realme P3x 5G to be a rebrand of the upcoming Realme V series smartphone.
