Redmi K70 With 90W Fast Charging Support Recevies 3C Certification in China

Xiaomi’s subbrand Redmi is expected to launch the Redmi K70 series smartphones in China in the coming few weeks. The upcoming Redmi K70 lineup is expected to include three devices namely the Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and the Redmi K70E. We have been learning new details about these upcoming smartphones through several certifications and benchmark listings. The Redmi K70 Pro was spotted at Geekbench a couple of days back. The benchmark listing detailed the hardware specifications of the smartphone. Now, in a recent development, the vanilla Redmi K70 model has received the 3C certification in China.

Redmi K70 Will Offer 90W Fast Charging Support

The 3C certification reveals that the Redmi K70 (2311DRK48C) will offer up to 90W fast charging support. The listing also discloses that the device will have 5G support. Apart from these details, no other specifications of the handset are revealed by the 3C listing. This upcoming device from Redmi will succeed the Redmi K60 smartphone which debuted in China back in December last year.

To recall, the Redmi K60 features a 6.67-inch OLED display that has a 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC which is aided with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. The device features a 64MP triple-camera setup and a 16MP selfie camera. The other key specifications which the K60 offers include an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 5,500mAh battery, 67W wired fast charging and 30W wireless charging.

Moving on to the details of the Redmi K70 series, this upcoming lineup is expected to launch in China in the first week of December. The launch timeline of these devices was revealed by stable MIUI 15 stable builds. The previous information revealed by the folks at Xiaomiui also suggests that the K70 and the K70 Pro will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC respectively, while the K70E could be powered by Dimensity 9200+ chipset. The report also added that the Redmi K70 Pro smartphone will be exclusive to the Chinese market, while we expect the other devices in the K70 lineup to debut outside China under the POCO branding.
