Samsung Galaxy A06 5G Wi-Fi Alliance Certification
The Wi-Fi Alliance certification has revealed that Samsung will soon launch a new smartphone with the SM-A066B/DS model number. It is confirmed to come with dual-band Wi-Fi, i.e., 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Apart from the Android operating system, other details aren’t known.
The model number was previously spotted on the IMEI database with the SM-A066B/DS model number confirming the moniker. The Galaxy A06 5G has yet to appear on any other certifications in the global markets.
To recall, Samsung recently introduced the Samsung Galaxy A06 in India with a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a waterdrop-style notch. It houses the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and runs One UI 6.1 based on Android 14 out of the box.
The device has a 50MP primary camera, a 2MP depth camera, and an 8MP selfie snapper. It packs a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support. We expect Samsung to introduce the Galaxy A06 5G with similar specifications.
