Samsung is working on expanding its A series lineup with the all-new A16 5G. Today, the team at MySmartPrice spotted this upcoming smartphone on the popular Geekbench database. It will be the successor to the Galaxy A15 5G, launched in December last year. So here’s everything you need to know about its Geekbench listing.

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G on Geekbench Database

The device appeared with the SM-A166P model number. It has achieved 514 in a single-core test and 1,464 in a multi-core test on the database. It also revealed that the upcoming Galaxy A16 5G will run the Android 14-based UI out of the box and have 6GB of RAM.

It also reveals that the forthcoming Galaxy A16 5G will pack an ARMv8 processor with a base frequency of 2.00 GHz, with 6 Cores at 2.00 GHz and 2 Cores at 2.40 GHz. These specifications indicate that it might be a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. Which is possible as its predecessor the Galaxy A15 5G was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Unfortunately, it doesn’t reveal any other device specifications.

Samsung Galaxy A16 5G on Other Certification Websites
