Our team at MySmartPrice exclusively revealed the renders and specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A25 5G smartphone. The smartphone has been appearing on many certification websites, hinting that the launch is nearing. There were many leaks regarding the smartphone, starting from the first renders leaked in June 2023. The smartphone was later listed in GeekBench, revealing the chipset details.
The FCC listing obtained by the device confirmed some specifications of the upcoming Galaxy A25 5G smartphone. Earlier this month, our team at MySmartPrice spotted the smartphone in India’s BIS, indicating that the smartphone will launch in India. The support page of the forthcoming Galaxy A25 5G also went live recently on Samsung India’s website. A report from Winfuture has revealed the renders, pricing, specifications and launch timeline of the upcoming Samsung smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy A25 5G Launch Timeline and Pricing Tipped
The report from Winfuture, a German publication, reveals that Samsung will debut the smartphone between December 7 and December 19. The upcoming Galaxy A25 5G smartphone is already live on many Switzerland online retailers. Digitec.ch reveals that the smartphone will be available to purchase from December 18. The website lists the smartphone for CHF 279 (approx. EUR 288 / Rs 26,400) for the base variant.
WInfuture adds that the upcoming Galaxy A25 5G will be priced between EUR 269 (approx. Rs 24,600) and EUR 289 (approx. Rs 26,400) in Germany. Samsung will equip the smartphone with a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The display will have a refresh rate of 120Hz, a peak brightness of 1000 nits, an aspect ratio of 19:5:9, a pixel density of 401 PPI and a dew drop notch to house the selfie camera.
The upcoming smartphone will be powered by Samsung’s in-house Exynos 1280 SoC, built on a 5nm process. The chipset has 2 Cortex-A78 cores at 2.4GHz, six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz and Mali-G68 MP4 GPU. The 8GB variant of the smartphone has managed to score 973 points in single-core and 2106 points in multi-core tests. Samsung will ship the smartphone in 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants.
The upcoming mid-range Samsung smartphone will also bring support for expanding storage via a micro-SD card. The forthcoming Galaxy A25 5G smartphone will run on OneUI 6 based on Android 14 out of the box. The previous renders and other leaks have confirmed that Samsung will equip the smartphone with triple rear cameras. The device will feature a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and OIS.
The sensor will be paired with a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with a field of view of 120 degrees and an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. Samsung will equip the smartphone with a 13MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. A large 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support will back the smartphone. The device will have a dimension of 161.0 x 76.5 x 8.3mm and will weigh 197 grams.
