The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A26 was recently spotted in the databases of certification platforms like India’s BIS, TUV Rheinland, and Bluetooth SIG. Now, the support page of the device has gone live in multiple markets, hinting that it may launch soon.
The Galaxy A26 will arrive as a successor to last year’s Galaxy A25. The South Korean tech giant is expected to unveil the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 in March in different markets. It appears that the A26 may also launch around the same time.
Samsung Galaxy A26 5G’s regional support pages go live
The screenshots above are from Samsung’s regional websites for markets such as the UK, Ireland, and Latin America. While the device name is not explicitly mentioned, the model number SM-A26B/DS, which appears on all three pages, corresponds to the Galaxy A26. A previously spotted Bluetooth SIG listing has also confirmed that this model number is associated with the A26.
As usual, the support pages haven’t revealed anything significant about the Galaxy A26. However, they do hint that it will not take too long for it to go official.
Samsung Galaxy A26 5G specifications (rumoured)
Previous reports have revealed that the Galaxy A26 will feature a 6.64-inch or 6.7-inch panel with a waterdrop notch design. The screen is expected to support an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is expected to ship with One UI 7-based Android 15, like the recently announced Galaxy S25 series flagships.
The Galaxy A26 5G could be equipped with an overclocked version of the Exynos 1280 chipset. However, some reports claim that it could be equipped with the Exynos 2400e SoC. It may ship with up to 8GB of RAM, 256GB of built-in storage, and a battery of around 4,565mAh capacity. It is likely to measure 164 x 77.5 x 7.7mm and weigh 209 grams.
