Highlights
  • Samsung has released Galaxy AI features for the Galaxy S24 series and more phones.
  • It will also have the fan-favourite ‘Live Translation’ feature.

Earlier this year, Samsung joined the AI bandwagon and introduced its Galaxy AI features. Now we are waiting for the latest foldables to arrive next month. The company has officially confirmed that its latest suite of AI features is coming to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones. Here’s everything you need to know about:

Galaxy AI on Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6

Samsung’s EVP, Won-Joon Choi, confirmed that the company will improve the Galaxy A9 for the upcoming foldable phones. He said, “Our foldables are the most versatile in the Samsung Galaxy lineup, and with Galaxy AI, they will unlock new possibilities.

As per the blog post, Samsung aims to transform mobile experiences with a “hybrid AI approach,” which is considered practical and reliable to meet consumer needs. This approach balances the “instant responsiveness and extra privacy” of on-device AI with the flexibility of cloud-based AI, collaborating with industry leaders to offer essential daily functions.

Furthermore, the most talked about feature from the Galaxy AI, the ‘Live Translation’ will also be part of the forthcoming foldables. It uses on-device AI to translate phone calls in real time. This feature is particularly useful for users who frequently communicate with people who speak different languages, as it eliminates the need for third-party translation services or apps.

Other features include the famous Circle to Search, Note Assist, Photo Assist, and much more.

When will the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 Launch?

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 are expected to be unveiled during Samsung’s summer Unpacked event, which is rumoured to take place on July 10. Interestingly, the company will also unveil its Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch 7 series, and new TWS at the same event. We are yet to get more details on this, so, stay tuned.
