Samsung Galaxy M42 5G With Snapdragon 750G Appears on Geekbench Hinting Imminent Launch

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Galaxy M42 5G will come with Snapdragon 750G SoC and 4GB of RAM.

We are aware of the fact that Samsung is aiming to release two new devices, the Galaxy M42 5G and the Galaxy A42 in the Indian market. Both the smartphones have already cleared the required BIS certification in the past. That apart, we even spotted the Galaxy M42 5G support page on Samsung’s India website a few days ago. Now, in a recent development, the Galaxy M42 5G is spotted on the Geekbench benchmark. The Geekbench listing reveals the possible hardware specifications of the device ahead of the official launch. Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Spotted on Geekbench

If we go by the Geekbench listing, we can see that the Galaxy M42 5G is listed with the model number as SM-M426B. According to the preliminary benchmark, the smartphone will pack 2.21GHz Snapdragon 750G SoC, which will be aided with Adreno 619 GPU. The phone will ship with 4GB of RAM. On the software side of things, the M42 5G will run Android 11 out of the box with OneUI 3.0 user interface. And that’s all the details, we can grab from the Geekbench for now.

If we have a recap of the earlier details, the Galaxy M42 5G is already certified by Wi-Fi Alliance and Bluetooth SIG a few weeks back. The device was even spotted on 3C and DEKRA certification last year. According to the early 3C listing, the device is expected to pack in a 6000mAh battery capacity. The smartphone is suspected to feature a 64MP primary camera. It might come with 128GB of internal storage. The other details of the phone such as its display size, front camera details, dimensions, and design language still remain unknown to us.

Additionally, Samsung is yet to reveal the official launch date of the Galaxy M42 5G in India. However, now the phone has already gained the required BIS, 3C, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth certification, and is now even spotted at Geekbench currently, its launch seems in India seems imminent.
