The teaser puts an end to the previous rumours and leaks that hinted at the launch of a thin smartphone with the Galaxy S25 Slim moniker. The Galaxy S25 Edge is confirmed to debut later this year and is expected to go official in Q2 of 2025. It is expected to be showcased at the upcoming MWC 2025 event.
Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S25 Edge will sport a dual camera setup unlike the triple cameras on the vanilla models.
The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to be positioned between the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ smartphones. The hands-on images shared by folks at GSMArena confirm the presence of a flat AMOLED display with a centred punch hole cutout.
The power button and volume rockers will be present on the right side of the device. Meanwhile, the antenna markings can be seen on all the sides of the smartphones. An oval-shaped camera island housing dual cameras and LED flash will be present on the rear.
Samsung has yet to reveal any specifications of the smartphone. The Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to sport a 6.7-inch display similar to the Galaxy S25+. The smartphone is expected to measure 6.4mm in thickness. The device will pack the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy SoC, paired with 12GB of RAM.
More details of the Galaxy S25 Edge are expected soon. So stay tuned.
