Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Global Variant Clears NBTC Certification Ahead of Launch

Samsung could soon announce the launch of the Galaxy S25 series smartphones for global markets, including India. Ahead of this, our folks at MySmartPrice have spotted the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra on Thailand’s NBTC certification.

The NBTC certification has confirmed that the upcoming Samsung smartphone with the SM-S938B/DS model number will be unveiled with the Galaxy S25 Ultra marketing name. The DS in the model number reveals support for dual SIM cards.

The listing also reveals the GSM / WCDMA / LTE / NR connectivity of the smartphone. Apart from this, the NBTC certification suggests the imminent launch of the flagship smartphones in the global markets.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra was spotted on China’s 3C certification, which confirmed support for 45W wired fast charging. It also adds the upcoming flagship smartphone will be available with satellite connectivity.

However, we also spotted the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the FCC certification with the S938B/DS model number. Although it was revealed that the phone is being tested with a 25W adaptor, we expect Samsung to launch the device with 45W charging capabilities.

The certification also confirms the support for wireless and reverse wireless charging tech. Folks at 91Mobiles have spotted the smartphone in the Camera FV5 database, which reveals the presence of a primary camera with 12.5MP ( 4080 x 3060 image resolution), likely to house a 50MP sensor considering pixel binning.

The primary camera will have a 23.2 mm focal length, f/1.7 aperture, EIS stabilisation, a 1/11,977–1/6 manual exposure range, and a 12-3200 ISO range. It will support JPEG/DNG picture formats and auto/manual focusing.
