In the earlier version, we mentioned the capacity of one of the batteries of Galaxy Z Flip 6 as 1000mAh. However, this was an error on our part and the actual capacity of this battery is 1097mAh. This means that the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 will feature a 3,887mAh battery (rated capacity) and the company might market it as a 4,000mAh battery, as rumoured earlier.

Samsung will soon unveil the next generation of foldable smartphones. Today, we have spotted the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G and Galaxy Ring in the FCC database. The forthcoming Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G has also made its appearance on the PSI Testing and Certification LTD website, confirming the battery capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 5G FCC Listing

The next-gen Samsung clamshell smartphone is listed in the FCC database with the SM-F741U model number. The database confirms that the phone will have dual-cell batteries with the EB-BF741ABY and EB-BF742ABY model numbers.

The PSI certification confirms the device will sport 1,000mAh and 2,790mAh rated batteries. The certification reveals that Samsung will equip the Galaxy Z Flip 6 with a 3,790mAh rated battery, which might be marketed with a 3,900mAh or 4,000mAh typical value.

The FCC database adds that Samsung will equip the smartphone with support for Wi-Fi 2.4GHz, 5GHz, Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth, and more. The UL Demko certification obtained by the smartphone confirms support for 25W fast charging tech.

The device was also spotted on the Geekbench database with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Made for Galaxy SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM. The Camera FV 5 database revealed support for a 12.5MP resolution with pixel-binning tech, which could be a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture.

Samsung Galaxy Ring FCC Listing

As per the FCC database, the Galaxy Ring will debut with the SM-Q503 model number and will be available in sizes ranging from 5 to 12. Samsung will equip the Ring with a 17mAh battery for the 5, 6, and 7 sizes. The 8, 9, 10 and 11 sizes will sport a slightly higher 18.5mAh battery. The Galaxy Ring with size 12 will house a 22.5mAh battery.

The FCC listing of the Galaxy Ring has also revealed support for Bluetooth LE and Bluetooth 5.4 protocols. We have also spotted the charging cardle of the Galaxy Ring in the FCC database. Samsung is expected to label the charging cardle depending on the size of the Galaxy Ring.
