TECNO is preparing to launch its CAMON 40 series smartphones. Team MySmartPrice has identified the TECNO CAMON 40 Premier on the FCC certification and the TECNO CAMON 40 4G on the NBTC certification.
TECNO CAMON 40 Series Multiple Certifications
The FCC certification lists a new TECNO smartphone with the model number CM8, indicating its imminent launch. Earlier, the IMEI database confirmed that the smartphone would launch under the marketing name TECNO CAMON 40 Premier.
The listing also confirms the smartphone will support 5G NR and 4G LTE mobile connectivity. The CAMON 40 Premier will support the n5, n7, n12, n38, n41, n66, n71, n77, and n78 5G bands, along with Bluetooth, dual-band Wi-Fi, and NFC. Its dimensions will be 164 x 74 x 8mm.
The schematic render label confirms the device will launch in a 12GB + 256GB configuration. The renders reveal a circular module featuring three cameras and an LED flash. The individual camera cutout indicates the inclusion of a telephoto camera.
The power button and volume rockers will be positioned on the right side. An additional button, likely an Action button or alert slider will be present on the left side.
The CAMON 40 Premier will support the U700TSA adaptor, which supports 70W wired fast charging tech. The certification didn’t reveal the battery capacity.
We also spotted another TECNO smartphone on Thailand’s NBTC certification list with the CM6 model number. This model number belongs to the TECNO CAMON 40 4G, which previously appeared on the FCC certification. The certification confirms the support for GSM, WCDMA and LTE connectivity.
The FCC certification previously divulged that it will pack a 5,100mAh-rated battery with 45W wired fast charging tech. It will be available in 8GB + 256GB configuration. The smartphone will sport a vertically stacked camera setup on the rear.
Other details of the CAMON 40 series smartphones are expected to go out in the coming days. So stay tuned.
