Vivo appears to be preparing for the global release of its V40 Lite smartphones. The company recently launched the 5G variant in Spain, and today, we’ve spotted both the 4G and 5G versions on certification sites like EEC and Indonesia Telecom. These devices have also appeared on the Geekbench database. Here’s everything you need to know:

Vivo V40 Lite 4G on EEC, CQC, Indonesia Telecom, and Geekbench Database

The 4G variant of the device, identified by the model number V2424, has been spotted on three certification websites and the Geekbench database. The Indonesia Telecom listing confirms the device’s name, while the CQC certification reveals that it will support 80W fast charging. However, the EEC certification didn’t provide any specific details.

On Geekbench, the device scored 475 in the single-core test and 1,579 in the multi-core test. The listing also suggests it is powered by the Snapdragon 685 4G SoC, with a 2.80 GHz max CPU clock speed and Adreno 610 GPU. Additionally, it shows the device running on an Android 14-based OS with 8GB of RAM.

The 5G variant, identified by the model number V2418, was also spotted. Like the 4G version, the Indonesia Telecom listing confirmed its name, but the EEC certification didn’t reveal any details.

On Geekbench, this variant scored 916 points in the single-core test and 2,234 in the multi-core test. The listing indicates the device will be powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, with a max CPU clock speed of 2.21 GHz and an Adreno 613 GPU.

This is notable because the version launched in Spain uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. While both chipsets share the same codename and clock speed, the difference lies in the GPU, as the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 typically comes with the Adreno 710 GPU.
