Vivo V40e BIS Certification

The BIS certification reveals that Vivo will soon launch a smartphone with the V2403 model number in India. The model number was previously spotted on the IMEI database and Bluetooth SIG listing, which confirmed the Vivo V40e moniker.

We also spotted another Vivo smartphone with the V2422 model number in the BIS certification alongside the V2430 model number. The V2422 model number was also spotted on the IMEI database, which reveals the Vivo Y200 Plus 5G moniker.

The Geekbench listing of the Vivo V40e divulges that the smartphone has scored 1028 points in single-core and 2938 points in multi-core tests. The upcoming Vivo V series device will be powered by an octa-core SoC with a peak clock speed of 2.5 GHz.

The chipset will pair with up to 8GB of RAM, and the smartphone will run on Android 14 out of the box, which is likely to be based on Funtouch OS 14. The octa-core SoC powering the Vivo smartphone will be coupled with a k6878v1_64 motherboard and a Mali G615 MC2 GPU.

The identifiers confirm that Vivo will equip the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. To recall, the CMF Phone (1) and OPPO Reno 12 5G series debuted with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. The Dimensity 7300 SoC features four Cortex A78 cores at 2.5GHz and four Cortex A55 cores at 2.0GHz.
