Vivo seems to be gearing up for the launch of the X200FE in India. Vivo launched the X200 and X200 Pro in India in December last year, and was tipped to introduce the X200 Pro Mini in the coming weeks. However, a new report claims the Chinese smartphone giant may launch the Vivo X200 FE in India in place of the X200 Pro Mini. To recall, the X200 Pro Mini is a compact smartphone launched in China last October.

The report by smartprix claims that the X200FE will arrive in India by the end of June or early July. Leaked specifications point towards the Vivo X200 FE being a rebadged version of the S30 Pro Mini, which is available in China.

Vivo X200 FE: Expected specifications

The X200 FE is expected to be powered by the as yet unannounced Dimensity 9400e SoC, which will likely be a binned version of the existing Dimensity 9400. The phone will reportedly feature a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 90W fast charging. The battery size is not known at the moment.

On the imaging front, the smartphone will reportedly feature a dual camera setup at the back, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. Up front, there is expected to be a 50-megapixel shooter.

Vivo X200 FE: Expected price and release date

As mentioned above, the X200FE looks set to launch in India by the end of June or early July. The X200FE could arrive alongside the flagship Vivo X200 Ultra. Pricing details are not known at the moment. For context, the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the Vivo X200 Mini is priced at CNY 4,699 in China, which converts to roughly Rs 56,000.
