Vivo recently launched its Y300 Plus smartphone in India and is preparing to unveil its sibling, the Y300, in the country. Today, thanks to our industry insider, we have some exclusive deets about this upcoming smartphone, like its launch timeline, colour options, and more. Here’s everything you need to know.
Vivo Y300 India Launch and Other Details
Vivo is set to launch the standard Y300 by the end of November, though the exact date remains undisclosed. Additionally, an insider revealed that the smartphone will feature a titanium-inspired design and come in three colour options: Phantom Purple, Titanium Silver, and Emerald Green.
We’ve also learned that the Y300 will be equipped with a Sony IMX882 portrait camera and an AI Aura Light. It will support 80W FlashCharge. However, other details are not available now but we can expect more information as we approach the launch. We also expect Vivo to make an official announcement regarding this soon.
Vivo Y300 Plus: Specifications
To recall, the Y300 Plus flaunts a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ (2400 x 1080 pixels) resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1,300 nits peak brightness. It draws power from the Snapdragon 695 SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU. It runs FunTouch OS 14 based on Android 14. Regarding storage, the device has 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, and up to 1TB of micro-SD card slot.
The phone houses a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture, and an LED flash. On the front, there’s a 32MP selfie shooter. The device gets its juice from the 5,000mAh with 44W fast charging support.
