Vivo Y36 5G and Y78m Listed on Google Play Console Database Revealing Key Specifications, Expected to Launch Soon

The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo Y36 series and the Vivo Y78m smartphones. The Vivo Y36 lineup device such as the Vivo Y36 4G and the Vivo Y36 5G are set to go official on May 25th in Indonesia, as confirmed by Vivo a few days back. Additionally, the key specification of the Vivo Y36 4G surfaced last month courtesy of the Geekbench listing.

Apart from the Vivo Y36 lineup, we are also aware of the fact that the brand is prepping to introduce the Vivo Y78m smartphone, whose launch date is yet to be revealed. The Vivo Y78m’s complete specification and design were recently revealed via China Telecom listing. Now, in a recent development, both the Vivo Y36 5G and the Vivo Y78m are spotted at the Google Play Console.

Vivo Y36 5G, Vivo Y78m Specifications Revealed

According to the Google Play Console listing, the upcoming Vivo Y36 5G (V2248) will feature a Full HD+ resolution display. The handset will have a punch-hole cutout at the center of the screen which will accommodate the selfie camera. Under the hood, the Y36 5G will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 700 (MT6833) processor. The smartphone will pack up to 6GB of RAM and it will run Android 13 OS out of the box.

As far as the specifications of the Vivo Y78m (PD2278) go, it will also feature a Full HD+ resolution display with a punch-hole cutout. Furthermore, the smartphone will pack MediaTek’s Dimensity 7020 processor and 12GB of RAM. Similar to the Vivo Y36 5G, the Vivo Y78m will boot Android 13 OS out of the box with Vivo’s Funtouch OS 13 skin on top. As far as the other specifications of the Vivo Y78m go, the handset is tipped to feature a 6.4-inch display and a dual-camera setup. The camera module on the device might include a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary lens.

The smartphone could pack a 5,000mAh battery which might support 44W fast charging as per 3C certification. The other specifications of the Vivo Y78m remain unknown currently. Additionally, as mentioned above, the launch date of the Vivo Y78m is yet to be announced. Considering that the device has gained a few certifications recently, and it is spotted on Google Play Console as well as 3C certification, we can expect Vivo to announce it in the coming few days.
