Leaked Image Reveals Vivo Y78+ 5G Will Feature Punch-Hole Display, Dual-Camera Setup

The Vivo Y78+ 5G will feature a dual-camera setup. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 695 SoC.

Vivo is gearing up for the launch of the Vivo Y78 series devices. The upcoming Vivo Y78 lineup is supposed to include two devices namely the Vivo Y78 5G and the Vivo Y78+ 5G. A couple of days back, the Vivo Y78+ 5G was spotted at TENAA certification. The device also made its appearance on Geekbench as well as 3C certification. While now we wait for the launch of the Vivo Y78+ to happen, its design is now revealed ahead of the official launch. Vivo Y78+ 5G To Feature Punch-Hole Display, Dual Camera Setup

If we have a look at the leaked image, we can see that the Vivo Y78+ 5G will have a curved-edge display. The device will have a punch-hole cutout at the centre of the screen which will accommodate the selfie camera. Furthermore, we can see that at the right side of the device there will be volume and power button. We can expect the device to adopt an AMOLED panel and an under-display fingerprint sensor. On the back of the device, there will be a dual-camera setup which will be accompanied by a LED flash. The handset will debut in the Black, Blue and Gold colour options.

As far as the other specifications of the Vivo Y78+ 5G go, it is expected to come with an octa-core Snapdragon 695 processor and 12GB of RAM. These hardware specifications of the phone were revealed by the preliminary Geekbench listing a few days back. On the software side of things, the handset is expected to run Android 13 OS out of the box with Funtouch OS 13 skin on top.

The device is likely to pack a 5,000mAh battery which will offer 44W fast charging support. The other specifications of the Vivo Y78+ 5G remains unknown as of now. As mentioned-above, the Y78 series is also supposed to include a vanilla Vivo Y78 model. The device was spotted on Google Play Console listing earlier today. As per the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo Y78 5G is supposed to feature a Full HD+ resolution display with a 440 PPI pixel density.

Under the hood, the Y78 is expected to pack an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC and 8GB of RAM. Similar to the Y78+, the Y78 is also expected to boot Android 13 OS. As of now, the launch date of the Vivo Y78 series is yet to be revealed. However, now that these devices have started appearing on Geekbench and Google Play Console, we can expect Vivo to launch them in the coming few days.
