Xiaomi has showcased the HyperConnect in a live demo. The feature was announced during the launch of HyperOS 2 on the recently released Xiaomi 15 Series in China. HyperConnect will help you share files directly with an iPhone, iPad, or MacBook with a single click. Let’s look at the official demo.
Xiaomi’s HyperConnect Feature Demo
Xiaomi’s Founder and CEO, Lei Jun, posted a video on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, showcasing the functioning of HyperConnect. In the video, Lei can be seen with a Xiaomi 15 Pro, an iPhone, an iPad, and a MacBook.
The HyperConnect feature provides a single-click option to share any file from the Xiaomi phone to any Apple device. You have to click on the share button and select the device to which you want to send the file. No additional pairing is required to use the feature.

Lei mentions that Apple devices are very popular among users who own a Xiaomi phone. Hence, the company is developing HyperOS to seamlessly blend with maximum Apple products. This will provide you with complete flexibility to share files and use your devices more effectively, compared to the hassle of manually sharing files between Android and iOS.
The HyperConnect feature is currently included in HyperOS 2 for the China region. The company has not revealed any details on its availability in the global version of HyperOS. When Xiaomi started its transition from MIUI to HyperOS last year, the company introduced almost all new features from the China version to the global version.
Lei Jun also showcased that HyperConnect allows you to directly open Apple Keynote files on any Xiaomi device. It can also mirror the screen of a Xiaomi phone on any iPad or MacBook. The feature works over Wi-Fi and both devices need to be on the same WiFi network. The initial setup requires a one-time configuration, after which you can seamlessly share files and mirror screens across Xiaomi and Apple devices.
