Motorola has confirmed the launch of a new E-series smartphone in India. The company will launch the Moto E13 as its new budget smartphone in the country. The E13 will launch in India on February 8. The company has already launched the phone in select European markets. The E13 is also likely among the most affordable smartphones from Motorola in India.
The phone’s specifications and features have already been revealed. The company has also confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase via Flipkart. Let’s take a look at the Motorola Moto E13 specifications, features and other details ahead of the official launch.
Moto E13 Specifications and Features
The Moto E13 is confirmed to launch in India on February 8. The smartphone will launch with three colour options and multiple storage configurations. The E13 will have up to 4GB of RAM. It was launched in Europe with 2GB and 4GB RAM options. We can expect the same for the Indian market. The device will also launch with up to 64GB of internal storage. There is support for a dedicated microSD card slot. Users can expand the memory up to 1TB via a microSD card.
Since the phone will have 2GB of RAM, it will run Android’s Go Edition. The Moto E13 is confirmed to feature Android 13 (Go Edition) out of the box. The device will be available in three colours — Cosmic Black, Creamy White and Aurora Green.
On the front, there will be a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution. There is a waterdrop notch at the top for the front camera. The bezels around the display are slightly thick, which is common in budget smartphones under Rs 10,000. The phone will also offer a standard 60Hz refresh rate support. In addition to the above details, the phone is also confirmed to offer support for Dolby Atmos. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top of the phone.
The E13 weighs less than 180 grams and is 8.5mm thick. There will be a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The device will also support 10W charging via a USB Type-C port. There is a Unison T606 entry-level processor. The phone will also sport a square-shaped camera module on the back. It has a 13MP single rear camera with an LED flash. For selfies, the phone has a 5MP front camera sensor.
The E13 has an IP52 rating for basic water resistance. Based on the specifications on offer, the phone is likely to be priced under Rs 10,000 in India. It will take on the likes of the Redmi A1+, POCO C50, Realme C31 and other budget smartphones under Rs 10,000 in India.
