Motorola has quietly launched a new E-series smartphone. The company has launched the Moto E22s in Europe. The new Motorola smartphone is a trimmed-down version of the Moto G22, which is already available for purchase in India. The device also sits below the Moto E32s, which was launched earlier this year in India for Rs 9,999. We can expect the Moto E22s to launch soon in India.
The phone comes with a MediaTek SoC under the hood. It also sports a dual-camera setup on the back. Let’s take a look at the Moto E22s price, specifications and other details ahead of its launch.
Moto E22s Price and Specifications
The Moto E22s has been launched in Europe with a single storage option. The phone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is priced at EUR 159 (roughly Rs 12,700). If launched in India, the E22s could be priced a lot lower.
The phone has been launched in Europe in two colours – Arctic Blue and Eco Black. It sports a polycarbonate back with the Motorola branding at the bottom. The logo sits in the middle, whereas the top left corner of the rear panel houses the dual-camera setup. Motorola has launched the phone with a 16MP main camera. It is accompanied by a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera sensor.
There is a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. Motorola is offering the E22s with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD. While the screen supports a 90Hz refresh rate, its resolution is capped at HD+. The device draws power from a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, which is an entry-level chipset. It packs a 5000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging out of the box. The device runs Android 12 out of the box.
