Motorola launched the Edge 20 series earlier this year in India. The company launched two devices from the series in the country – the Edge 20 Fusion (launched internationally as Edge 20 Lite) and the vanilla Edge 20. The top-of-the-line Edge 20 Pro did not launch in India alongside the other two models. Motorola had previously confirmed that the Pro variant will launch soon in India. Now, the company has started teasing the launch of the Moto Edge 20 Pro in India. Motorola India’s official Twitter handle has uploaded an image of the Pro model’s camera module with a “coming soon” launch timeline.

The teaser image does not confirm the exact launch date. However, Flipkart has confirmed that a new Motorola phone will launch on October 1 in India. It is safe to say that the Edge 20 Pro will launch in India on the same date.

The Edge 20 Pro is expected to be priced upwards of Rs 40,000 in India. The device was launched internationally for €699, which is roughly Rs 60,360. For the price, users get 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It is possible that Motorola could launch the device with 8GB of RAM to keep the cost of the device lower in India. The phone comes in two colours – Iridescent White and Midnight Blue.
