Motorola has launched its flagship phone, the Moto Edge 30 Pro in India today as the successor to the Moto Edge 20 Poro. The device was rumoured to launch in India for a while now and finally, the company unveiled the newest flagship in India today. The Moto Edge 30 Pro is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and it is also the cheapest phone in India with the latest Qualcomm chipset. Moto Edge 30 Pro Price in India and Availability

The Moto Edge 30 Pro is available in a single configuration in India with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and it is priced at Rs 49,999. In terms of colour options, the phone will be available in Cosmos Blue colour and Stardust White. Flipkart is the online sale partner and the first sale of the device is scheduled for March 4 at noon.

As for the launch offers, buyers can avail Rs 5,000 instant discount on SBI card via Flipkart. This cashback offer is valid till March 31, 2022.

Specifications and Features

The Moto Edge 30 Pro sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 10-bit P-OLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, HDR, HDR10+ support, and 700 nits peak brightness. The device offers a 144Hz screen refresh rate. In India, the device is available with 8GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB UFS3.1 internal storage.

Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. This SoC is built on a 4nm fabrication process and is coupled with Adreno 730 GPU. It features a big Cortex X2 core, clocked at 3GHz, followed by three Cortex A710 mid cores clocked at 2.5GHz, and four Cortex A510 cores clocked at 1.8GHz for the rest of the tasks. It supports multiple 5G bands in India as well.

The Edge 30 Pro feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS (OV50A40) and f/1.88 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth lens. There is a 60MP (OV60A40) snapper selfie camera as well. The device is backed by a 4,800mAh battery with support for 68W Type-C fast-charging support and it runs on Android 12 out of the box with an assured OS Upgrade to Android 13 and 14 along with quarterly security updates for 2 Years

The phone is available in two colour options and the back is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Other features include Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, IP52 Water, 15W wireless charging, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, ThinkShield for Mobile, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
