Motorola is hosting a new launch event on 24th February. The company posted the first official teaser for the upcoming launch on social media channels. The teaser says #findyouredge, which hints towards the launch of a new Edge series handset. Motorola India has also posted the same teaser, so the upcoming Edge series handset will launch in India as well on the same day.

The upcoming Edge series device should be the Moto Edge 30 Pro. To those unaware, the Moto Edge 30 Pro is said to be rebranded version of the Moto Edge X30 which was launched back in December in China. Recently, a leak had suggested that the device will launch this month itself in global markets as well as India.
Moto Edge X30 Specifications and Features
The Moto Edge X30 flaunts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ POLED display with 2400 × 1080 pixel resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 700nits peak brightness. It is a 10bit panel that is HDR10+ certified and makes room for the front selfie shooter inside a punch-hole notch.
The Edge X30 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is Qualcomm’s flagship offering as of now and is built on a 4nm fabrication process. The system on chip brings with it an integrated Adreno 730 GPU. The handset boots Android 12 with the company’s proprietary MyUI 3.0 on top.
The Edge X30 offers a triple rear camera setup and a LED flash. The primary shooter on the device is a 50MP sensor with optical image stabilization. Accompanying it is a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth lens. There is a 60MP sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
The Edge X30 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery unit and 68W fast-charging support. It has a USB Type-C charging port and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that doubles as the power button. The Edge X30 retails in three configurations – 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. It comes in two colour options – Black, and Pearl White.
