Moto X30 Pro, S30 Pro Could Launch on September 8, Official Teaser Hints Release of Three Smartphones

The Moto Edge 30 Ultra and Edge 30 Fusion are expected to launch soon in India.

Motorola has confirmed to host a launch event on September 8. The company will launch new Edge series smartphones for the global market at the event next month. It has already launched the Edge 30 and Edge 30 Pro in India and some other markets. The Edge (2022) was also launched in select markets. Three new Edge 30 series phones are expected to debut at the event on September 8. Motorola has not revealed the exact details of the two phones rumoured to launch next month. According to the rumour mill, the two phones launching at the Motorola event next month could be the Moto Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion.

The company’s latest teaser confirms the launch of three devices. The Edge 30 Ultra is rumoured to be the flagship offering launching at the event on September 8. It will launch globally as a rebadged Moto X30 Pro. Motorola is also expected to launch the S30 Pro from China as the Edge 30 Fusion in global markets. Details of the third smartphone are unknown at the moment. Chances are that the Razr 2022 foldable phone could be unveiled at the global event next month.

Moto Edge 30 Ultra Specifications

The Edge 30 Ultra will be a rebadged X30 Pro from China. It will feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. It will also sport a triple-camera setup on the back with a 200MP Samsung HP1 main camera sensor. The primary camera is accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 12MP telephoto camera.

The device will also pack a 4,500mAh battery with 125W fast charging and 50W wireless charging support. There will be a 6.73-inch Full HD+ OLED display with 144Hz refresh rate support. The phone will run Android 12-based MyUX out of the box.

Moto Edge 30 Fusion Specifications

The Edge 30 Fusion will be a rebadged S30 Pro from China. The phone will sport a 6.55-inch Full HD+ curved OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate support. There will be a curved 10-bit screen with a hole-punch cutout at the top centre.

The Edge 30 Fusion will also pack a Snapdragon 888+ SoC and a 4400 mAh battery with support for 68W fast charging. It will sport a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP depth sensor.

There is no word on the India launch details of the two phones. We do expect them to be available soon in India.
