Moto is expected to debut the Moto X40 series next week. The company will launch the Moto Edge X40 as the successor to Edge X30. The design renders of the Edge X40 were leaked on the web recently. Ahead of the launch, we have now spotted the upcoming Motorola handset with the model number XT2301-5 on the Geekbench benchmark database.
The Moto XT 2301-5 that made an appearance on the Geekbench could be the upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro. Let us take a look at the Moto Edge X40 benchmark scores and specifications revealed through the benchmark listing as well as other details known of the smartphone.
The upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro with model number XT2301-5 made an appearance on the Geekbench 5 benchmark database. The smartphone scored 1471 points in the single-core round of the test. Whereas, in the multi-core round, it managed to score around 4683 points. The listing further reveals the presence of an octa-core processor with 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration and 3.19GHz peak frequency.
Based on these, it appears that the upcoming Moto Edge 40 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship – Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 was announced last month and brings with it an integrated Adreno 740 GPU. Apart from it, the listing also reveals the existence of a 12GB memory variant for the Edge 40 Pro. The listing further reveals that the Edge 40 Pro will come pre-loaded with Android 13.
The Moto XT2301-5 was earlier spotted on the FCC certification website which revealed the support for 125W fast charging. The smartphone might also support wireless and reverse wireless charging as revealed in FCC certification. Moto Edge 40 Pro is expected to feature an OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
