Motorola looks to be prepping up for the launch of the Moto G 5G (2022) successor in the form of the Moto G 5G (2023). Though the launch date and key specifications of the upcoming Moto G 5G (2023) are yet to be revealed, we have its renders coming in courtesy of leakster SnoopyTech. As per the leaked renders, we can see that the upcoming Moto G 5G (2023) will arrive in the Gray and Black colour option. Furthermore, the leaked renders also reveal the complete design of the device from all sides ahead of its official launch.
Moto G 5G (2023) To Feature Punch-Hole Display, 48MP Dual Camera Setup
If we have a look at the leaked images, we can see that the upcoming Moto G 5G (2023) will feature a punch-hole display. The power and volume keys will be located on the right side of the handset. Furthermore, the phone will feature a dual-camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary sensor. The rear-facing camera will be accompanied by a LED flash. At the bottom side, the handset will have a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a speaker grille. We can expect the device to feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor similar to the Moto G 5G (2022). As far as the launch go, the handset will debut in the US.
Apart from the device details, the specifications of this upcoming smartphone such as display size, and hardware information remain to be unknown. As mentioned above, the device will debut as a successor to the Moto G 5G (2022). The Moto G 5G (2022) features a 6.5-inch display that has a HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is equipped with MediaTek’s octa-core Dimensity 700 processor which is accompanied by a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

On the software side of things, the smartphone runs Android 12 out of the box with My UX skin on top. In terms of the optics department, the Moto G 5G (2022) has got a triple-camera setup. The camera module includes a 50MP primary camera which has a f/1.8 aperture and PDAF support. Accompanying the 50MP sensor there is a pair of 2MP depth and macro camera units. For selfies and video-calling purpose, the device flaunts a 13MP camera.
The other key specifications that the Moto G 5G (2022) offers include is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 6GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a 3.5mm audio jack, a 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging support.
