Motorola has launched a new G-series phone in India. Days after launching the Moto G73 5G, the company has now unveiled the G13 in India. The Moto G13 is a 4G smartphone offering. The device is one of the most affordable smartphones from the company in the country. Also, it is an entry-level offering in the Moto G-series lineup in India. Motorola has launched the phone with two storage options.
The device has been launched in two colour options as well. It has a polycarbonate body and frame. The phone also has a slightly flat frame design. Let’s take a look at the Moto G13 4G price in India, specifications and other details ahead of the launch.
Moto G13 Price in India and Specifications
The Moto G13 has been launched in two storage options in India. The phone’s base model offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 9,499. There is also a 128GB storage option of the phone, which is priced at Rs 9,999. The phonewill be available in two colour options — Matte Charcoal and Lavender Blue.
It will go on sale from April 5 in India via Flipkart, Motorola.in and leading retail stores. Customers who purchase the G13 4G can get a 40 cashback vouchers with a combined worth of Rs 2,000 from Reliance Jio. In addition to this, there will be a Rs 500 Myntra Gift Voucher for Jio customers.
In terms of specifications, the G13 4G has a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1650 pixels. The screen has support for a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. While the side and top bezels are narrow, the chin is slightly thick.
On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone features a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture. There is also a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture and another 2MP sensor for depth mapping.
For selfies, the phone has an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone has dual speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. Under the hood, the G13 4G has a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC with a Mali G52 GPU. As mentioned above, the phone has 4GB of RAM as standard along with 128GB of storage. There is support for storage expansion via a microSD card. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support for AI face unlock.
The phone weighs about 183 grams and measures 162.7 x 74.66 x 8.19mm. It also has an IP52 rating for basic water and dust resistance. The device packs a 5000mAh battery with support for 10W charging support via a USB Type-C port. In terms of software, there is Android 13 out of the box. The phone has a layer of My UX on top.
