Motorola has launched a new G-series smartphone. The company has launched the Moto G22, which is a new budget smartphone. The device comes with 4G VoLTE network support only. It is currently launched for European customers. The budget smartphone is expected to launch in other markets, including India very soon.

Moto G22 Price
Motorola has launched the Moto G22 in European markets. The device comes in a single storage configuration which has 4GB of RAM. The device offers 64GB of internal storage and is priced at €169.99 (roughly Rs 14,300). It comes in three colour options – Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue.
As mentioned above, the phone is expected to launch in other markets as well. There is no word on the G22’s launch in India at the moment. We can expect the company to announce the launch date soon.
Specifications and Features
Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch Max Vision display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The phone has a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. It also supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Compared to the other bezels, the chin is slightly thick on the G22.
The phone draws power from a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is an option to increase the storage using a microSD card. Motorola has also packed a 5000 mAh battery in the G22. The phone does not support fast charging and only features 10W charging support out of the box. It has a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, a single speaker etc.
On the back, the phone has a quad-camera setup. The device has a 50MP main camera sensor, which clicks 12.5MP pixel-binned images. Along with the main camera, users get an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP front camera sensor. The device weighs about 185 grams and is 8.49mm thick. Lastly, the phone runs Android 12 out of the box.
