The latest Moto G-series handset offers a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and a centered punch hole notch. Under the hood, the smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and an integrated Adreno 610 GPU.

The Moto G42 comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery unit. It supports 20W TurboPower fast charging over a Type-C charging port. As for the optics, the device relies on a triple-rear camera setup. It includes a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP front shooter at the front for selfies and video calls.

The Moto G42 features an IP52 rating making it water repellent. The device also offers a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos audio. It comes in two colour options – Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose. The handset boots Android 12 out of the box. Motorola is also promising the Android 13 update and three years of security patch updates for the device.

The Moto G42 is priced at 1,529 Brazilian Real for the 4GB + 128GB variant in Brazil, this translates to about Rs 23,000. However, we can expect the device to be priced around Rs 15,000 mark in the country.
